DESCRIPTION:UNFALL versteht sich als "ökologisches" Musikprojekt: Recycling von Klängen, Instrumenten und Technik, die eigentlich ausgedient haben. Die fünf Musiker bewegen sich zwischen Improvisation, Elektroakustik, Free Jazz, Blasmusik und Minimalismus. Die Stücke sind nur teilweise festgelegt. Fehler, Zufall und technische Grenzen werden zum Motor. Jedes Konzert entsteht neu!

UNFALL si presenta come un progetto «ecologico»: un riciclo musicale di suoni, strumenti e tecnologie ormai obsoleti. Il quintetto esplora l’incontro fra improvvisazione, elettroacustica, free jazz, dixieland, musica da banda e minimalismo – ricomposti con le tecniche della musique concrète e ispirati ai cut-up di William Burroughs.
Il debutto discografico (Kohlhaas, febbraio 2025) nasce da residenze tra Toscana e Umbria ed è stato rielaborato da Renato Grieco attraverso registrazioni su nastro e vinile, manipolazioni fisiche, sintesi modulare e field recordings.
Le strutture musicali sono solo parzialmente definite, e spesso i limiti tecnici e fisici rendono impossibile un’esecuzione «corretta». Proprio in questa tensione tra controllo e caos, disciplina e gioco, l’errore diventa motore creativo: ogni concerto è un processo irripetibile, sospeso tra rischio, sperimentazione e meditazione.
